Senior Export & Key Account Manager

Langenfeld (Germany)

€ 6.500 - € 8.000

Full-time

Conquer the Dutch and German markets with the Beer Group! Are you the strategic Key Account Manager who can effortlessly turn complex negotiations into multi-million contracts and sustainable growth? Then this is the job you’ve been looking for.

About the vacancy

Be part of an international success story
At the Beer Group, we don’t sell components; we sell solutions, quality and partnerships. As our new Senior Export & Key Account Manager You will be the face of Beer in the Netherlands and Germany. You will be taking on a role with enormous visibility and responsibility, in which you will liaise directly with the top echelons of the European retail and specialist trade sectors.

You’ll be joining a close-knit and dynamic team. Together with two driven office-based colleagues and an experienced field account manager, you’ll form the ‘spearhead’ of our international growth. Communication lines are short, the culture is down-to-earth yet ambitious, and the entrepreneurial spirit is palpable in every fibre of our company.

Your remit: You’ll be given a great deal of freedom. You’ll be able to sign price agreements of up to €100,000 per order and contracts with an annual turnover of up to €250,000 entirely on your own. For the really big deals, you’ll work closely with senior management.

What are you going to do?

You’ll be the driving force behind our growth in Germany and the surrounding region. You’re not daunted by complex procurement structures and know how to secure a ‘yes’ at board level.

  • Strategic Account Management: You will manage and develop existing key accounts in the retail/DIY sector, aiming for annual growth of 10%.

  • High-Level Negotiations: Whether it’s purchasing organisations, corporate retail or large specialist retail groups, you’ll be in charge of contracts, bonuses and purchasing terms.

  • New Business Development: You’re on the hunt for the ‘big fish’. Your goal? To secure at least two new key accounts each year with a potential value of over €500,000.

  • Margin optimisation: You focus not only on volume, but also on value. Through smart contract management, you can improve your margin by 1–2% each year.

What we expect from you

At the Beer Group, we are not looking for an ‘order-taker’, but for an experienced Key Account Manager who understands the German retail and specialist trade sectors inside out. You are the professional who not only speaks the language fluently at a senior level, but is also familiar with the ins and outs of German business culture. With at least ten years’ experience in this specific sector and a proven track record in securing and managing multi-million deals, you are the candidate we need to realise our ambitions.

You are an analytical strategist who really comes into your own when negotiations get complex. Where others see a challenge, you see a path to improved margins and growth. You are accustomed to the dynamics of corporate retail and know how to make a lasting impact at board level. You are decisive, work completely independently and, thanks to your commercial intuition, know how to land new ‘whales’ worth over five tonne every year.

This is a role for the very best in the business: someone who keeps a cool head when the stakes are high, but has the sharpness to capitalise on every opportunity. Do you have the experience to take our biggest accounts to the next level and the drive to establish the Beer Group as a dominant force in the German market? If so, we’d love to hear from you.
